It seems like the Java EE 5 / EJB 3 posts are the most popular one. Now we know what we can build with plain Java EE 5 in 5 minutes, 50 minutes, but still not what is possible in 60 minutes. We will find it out at the JAX conference in Mainz :-).

However, if IBM takes over SUN your Netbeans stuff will be obsolete.
It doesn't make sense that IBM whose products (Lotus, Rational,...) are based on Eclipse RCP ,will continue supporting Netbeans.
IBM/SUN will hand over Netbeans to the community. This means that there will be no more paid Netbeans developers.
This means that SUN eventually support Eclipse fully :-)

you are right - if Netbeans will die, my fourth point: "Netbeans 6.7m2 aka 7.0, The Magic Switch, GF v3 EA, The 40ms EJB Deployment And The Fat Container (7342 views) will disappear. But the first 3 have more to do with Java EE, than Netbeans. ...and I really don't think that Java EE will disappear.
Remember: Netbeans is just an IDE. You project, architecture and whatever you are doing should not be dependent on it...
Btw. why my Netbeans stuff? I'm just a consultant. If it disappears, I will search for viable, open alternative for my current projects...
