Netbeans 6.7m2 - L&F Totally Refurbished On Mac - A Screenshot
I switched some projects to Netbeans 6.7m2 to test how it works. The L&F was totally refurbished on mac (see here). I included the screenshot into the wiki, so you can compare it directly with e.g. Nimbus vs. Vista.
Netbeans 6.7m2 works fine so far for me - stay stuned.
Voll geil sieht es aus! ;-)

Translation attempt: It looks cool. :-)
Ramon: it looks clean, I like it ...now. At the first glance the L&F was somehow strange for me.
thanks for your comment!,

But not everybody has a Macbook.
I would like the swing Metal ui under windows and linux, but it is ugly in NetBeans.
Other swing application like JEdit, Oxygen editor, it's Metal L&F are better than NetBeans.

Hantsy,
on Windows I'm using Nimbus - (see screenshot in the wiki) and http://www.adam-bien.com/roller/abien/entry/netbeans_6_5_screenshot_1. It is actually hard to say, what L&F looks better,

adam

One more reason to seriously consider Netbeans for my day-to-day development. Seems like I already have to update my fresh installation.
Some of the projects in your screenshot look familiar BTW. ;)

Andre,
yes - as I told you - I will install and try netbeans 6.7m2 in the plane. NB 6.7m2 just reused all the settings from our workshop, there is no NDA involved - so it was just perfect for the screenshot. But the screenshot is not the ultimate reason - state tuned!
Btw. you have a great homepage - I like it :-),
regards,
adam
