Netbeans File Dialog Was Slow, Eclipse's 3.3 is fast but crashes...

Zip files on the desktop slow down JFileChooser and so Netbeans on Windows XP. Eclipse remained fast, because it not uses the JFileChooser (and a native widget instead).
However I encounter some resproducable problems with Eclipse Europa. During the export of some plugins I had to navigate to the target folder. After several clicks the file dialog AND eclipse crashed completely. It happens every time. I already lost some unsaved changes, which wasn't very dramatic in my case, but it is good to know. The workaround is simple: I use now the windows explorer and "copy and paste" the path into Eclipse's file dialog and it works.

It seems like: regardless which IDE you are using, you shouldn't use the file dialogs on windows :-).
